CHS Class of 1970 2nd Annual Class Picnic  --  Friday, September 13th, 11 am to about 4 pm.  North Clackamas Park, 5440 SE Kellogg Creek Drive, Milwaukie, OR 97222.  

This is the park off Rusk Road about 1/2 mile NW of our old Clackamas High School.  We will be at the covered picnic table area close to the baseball fields.

Bring your own lunch and any games you think would be a great addition to the day.  There will be corn hole, darts and yard ring toss, so be prepared to have lots of fun.  There will also be Trivia questions (Trivia from the 70's), so make sure you are up on taking your Prevagen.  

Pass the word to any of our classmates you are in contact with - we want to be sure all 1970 classmates get included in all the FUN.  See you all there !!!

Hi all, Judi Young Gander asks for this to be posted on our official site. She has also set up a Face Book account and posted pictures and announcements there if you so wish to join.

I have been caring for my more elderly family members and lost the last of that generation in May. I have to admit I'm still exhausted but slowly getting more energetic. I was in California so went to my mini-reunion there since it's always held in May. Oh my gosh what a kick! I moved to Oregon my Freshman year so really am not as familiar with your childhoods as those I went to school with from preschool to Frosh. About 75 people showed up and sooooo much laughter ensued. What a joy! I know you all know what a Pollyanna I am but keeping or renewing old friendships definitely renews one's soul! I highly recommend it.

I ran into a fellow 1970 classmate today and they had not heard about our planned picnic.  Please, if you are in contact with any classmates, let them know to come to North Clackmas Park on Friday, Sept. 13th from about 11am to 4pm.  Bring our own lunch and join in the fun and games.  The park is just off Rusk Road near our old high school, and we will be in the area by the baseball fields.

We planned on having the picnic on the 2nd Friday of September - it just happened to be on the 13th this year.  Be sure to come to North Clackamas Park for our class picnic!!!  And tell other 1970 classmates that you are in touch with to come too.
